I first discovered Son and Parks Beauty Water through my beauty-obsessed former colleagues in 2018. The simple and minimalist packaging immediately attracted me. Does Kiehls Test On Animals Yes They Do

We might as well just lay it on the line right now that Kiehls isnt technically cruelty-free. Though they dont profess to be. So while thats not lying, it does kind of suck.

According to PETA, Kiehls is still testing on animals.

I couldnt find any official Kiehls animal testing policy, but LOreal says:

LOréal no longer tests on animals any of its products or any of its ingredients, anywhere in the world. Nor does LOréal delegate this task to others. An exception could only be made if regulatory authorities demanded it for safety or regulatory purposes.

Pay special attention to that last line its the trickiest.

The more drier months of fall and winter are fast approaching, which means dry skin and dry lips. Here are 5 ways to nourish and protect your pout.

* Stay HYDRATED!! Drinking enough water each day works miracles on the body. Your lips and skin will thank you later.

* Remove your makeup each night, even on the lip area. Your lips and the pore area around the mouth need to breathe at night too.

* Exfoliate your lips once a week to remove dead skin than can lead to infection. You can buy a lip scrub or make your own with vitamin E oil and sea salt .

* Keep your lips hydrated day and night. Look for a day lip balm that has a good combination of hyaluronic acid or glycerin and beeswax or shea butter. If you lack one then you might see a more drying effect which is opposite of your aim. Avoid ingredients like petroleum jelly, mineral oil, phenol, and synthetic fragrances. Also, dont forget to include a lip balm with SPF . For night time use, I highly recommend a small dap of coconut oil. I also love to include a weekly lip mask for a surge of hydration.

* Lastly, avoid open mouth breathing and lip licking. Continuous air flow over your lips can be very drying. To solve the problem, most people lick their lips for hydration yet fail to realize saliva is very drying.

What To Use For Breakouts During Pregnancy
